What An Experience!

by Allie Lee

Allie LeeI remember my experience as if it was just yesterday. The day of my scheduled makeover had arrived. I talked to Lynda on the phone earlier that morning and reconfirmed my appointment. The drive seemed to take forever and I tried to relax during my drive to Philadelphia.

When I arrived at Lynda's I was a nervous wreck, and I was actually shaking. She took my hands and helped me relax. She explained the entire makeover process and then went to work. She showed me the outfits she had selected for my 1st makeover. Lynda told me that I was one of her few Afro American clients and I must admit she is a master of color. She picked a few outfits that really worked with my skin tone. I selected one to start with.

As a guy I am rather slim and once getting into the foundation garments I was even smaller in fem mode. I have small hips so she managed to make some for me. We discussed my sizing and I found out that some of the clothing I had been buying was really too big for my true fem size. She selected a pair of shoes and fitted them to my feet. I did have a bit of trouble getting used to the shoes though. Allie is a shoe nut but I didn't bring a proper pair with me, oh well maybe next time.

Allie LeePrior to my makeover I had let my fingernails grow longer than normal. In doing my nails Lynda remarked that I had great nails that some women would kill for. The nails in my pictures are my real nails. We got the color applied and after a quick break she went to work on my makeup.

I felt honored that I was one of the first to have the air brushed makeup. Lynda took great care with the tools of her trade ensuring each item was cleaned at each step. She was quite active in the application of my makeup.

I wanted to peek but my back was turned so I couldn't even sneak a peek.

With the makeup applied now came the time to get dressed. We got the outfit on and then I was allowed to view allie in the mirror for the first time. I was FLOORED. Here stood this beautiful Black Woman. She left me alone for a few to get acquainted with the new allie.

Then we went to work shooting a few pictures. My how the time went so quickly and before I knew it, we were taking it all off to prepare for my departure. One funny thing.. I was about to walk out when we discovered my nails were still painted. We quickly removed the polish and a good laugh.

My online friends have been raving about Allie's makeover. So many that I can't remember them all at this writing.

Lynda,

Thank you for bringing allie to light and I hope to visit again real soon.
